Memorial Day Weekend 2026 sponsors’ screening of “The 100TH, Seeds of Aloha” film and fundraising concert honored the legacy of Hawaiʻi’s 100th Infantry Battalion and 442nd Regimental Combat Team through film, music, and community support.

On Sunday, May 3, 2026, Turner Hall at the 100th Infantry Battalion Memorial Building (Clubhouse) was full of positive energy as students shared the results of their research in the 100th Infantry Battalion Veterans’ Legacy2Action (L2A) initiative. Students were challenged to find a problem they were passionate about, study the success values of the 100th, then develop a creative solution to solve the problem. This is the 5th year of the 100th’s Legacy2Action initiative.

On April 23, 2026, members of the 100th Infantry Battalion Veterans (Club 100) joined Councilmember Andria Tupola, dignitaries, community leaders, friends and family in the renaming of the Waiʻanae District Park as the "Shinyei Nakamine and 100th Infantry Battalion Memorial Park." Cafe 100, in Hilo, Hawaii, hosted a special unveiling ceremony on Monday, April 13, 2026, dedicating new storyboards and a commemorative banner that honor the restaurant’s namesake, the 100th Infantry Battalion, and its founder, Richard Seiji Miyashiro (Co. B), a decorated combat veteran of the 100th Infantry Battalion (Separate).

Historic Turner letter collection from the 100th Infantry Battalion are preserved at the Hawaiʻi State Archives, sharing powerful WWII stories of service and sacrifice.
