A Purple Heart City sign dedication ceremony was held on December 22, 2025 at the 100th Infantry Battalion Veterans Clubhouse in Honolulu, recognizing the city's commitment to honoring those wounded or killed in service —and paying tribute to the Hawaii-born 100th Infantry Battalion, known in WWII as “The Purple Heart Battalion.”

On December 9, 2025, the 100th Infantry Battalion Veterans (Club 100) were honored to accept the Commendation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan for Club 100’s role in establishing mutual understanding between Japan and Hawaii, as well as the USA.

On Sunday, September 28, 2025, at 9:30 a.m., the 20th Annual Joint Memorial Service will be held at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific at Punchbowl, honoring the U.S. Soldiers of World War II who served in the 100th Infantry Battalion, 442nd RCT, Military Intelligence Service, and 1399th Engineer Construction Battalion, who died in World War II or have since passed on.
