In partnership with 'Iolani School and the University of Hawai'i Center on Aging, the 100th Infantry Battalion Veterans organization kicked off the Legacy2Action Project Based Learning (PBL) initiative on Sunday, February 5, 2023. There were 28 students who attended, representing 'Iolani School, Mid Pacific Institute, Kapolei High school, McKinley High school, Roosevelt High school and Maryknoll School. In addition, over 20 volunteers of parents, faculty, 100th Infantry Battalion Veterans organization members, and friends came out to support the event.

After the kickoff and a tour of the Clubhouse, the students and volunteers rolled up their sleeves and trimmed the plants, laid new mulch, removed all the chair shed contents and swept/mopped the floor, cleaned and lined the kitchen shelves/drawers, dusted the displays, wiped down glass cases, cleaned the lounge cabinets, and cataloged the books and media in our library.

Whew!!! Our hearts are filled with gratitude for the hard work and love that everyone poured into our Clubhouse. It was wonderful to see the Clubhouse abuzz with happy energy in honor of the sacrifices and contributions the 100th Infantry Battalion soldiers and veterans made for us.
